As a proud parent, I watched my son perform in many theatrical shows in high school. Then as a former employee at the Fine Arts Museums in San Francisco and as a current Commissioner on the Alameda County Arts Commission, I have seen first-hand the impact of the arts in a community. Most importantly, as stage manager at Marshall Elementary school musicals, I witnessed the sheer joy and pride on students’ faces after a performance. A life-changing moment for them that will be remembered forever.
The CV Arts Foundation has afforded Castro Valley the opportunity to create a thriving arts and cultural environment that benefits every community member. I feel fortunate to be a part of the Board and look forward to bringing new and exciting arts and entertainment to our community.
