Volunteering at the Center for the Arts has been a family affair. I volunteered at the box office when it first opened as a way to serve the community, now I head the landscape committee. Inspired by the extraordinary commitment of the founders and fellow volunteers, I continue to develop my passion for the theatre and find ways to contribute to it.
Mitzi earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Consumer Affairs from the University of Nebraska, and serves on the board of the Bay Area Nebraska alumni chapter. She works for a national brokerage firm as a sales manager in the food industry. Mitzi has lived in Castro Valley since 1999 and has volunteered at the Center for the Arts since it opened in 2006. Most recently she and her family contributed their time and talent to designing and landscaping the CFA.
